Road Force Tire Balancing In Texas

At Tires 2 U, we take tire installation seriously. We use the best installation and balancing equipment on the market – Hunter. Hunter Engineering Company has revolutionized the way tires are installed and balanced, and their state-of-the-art machines make the installation much more precise.

How Road Force Balancing Works

The RoadForce Elite wheel balancer delivers exceptional balancing. In addition to the dynamic computer balancing, which is standard at most, auto shops, it also performs Road Force balancing.

  What does that mean?

This machine simulates a load on top of the tire while it spins. This mimics the tire actually being driven on the road (or putting “road force” on the tire + wheel), which accounts for imbalances that you normally wouldn’t feel until it was put back on your vehicle. It helps solve vibration problems that traditional wheel balancers can’t fix; non-balance, radial-force related problems associated with tire uniformity, tire and rim runout, wheel to balancer mounting errors, and improper bead seat of tire to rim. All of this equals the most precise balance you can find, and offers the smoothest ride possible.

Do all vehicles need road force balancing?

While low-profile (aspect ratio of 45 and lower) high-performance tires will get the most benefit out of road force balancing, we believe every tire on the road should be installed with precision and care.

It’s no surprise that most of the premium brand dealers such as BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, etc. recommend Road Force balancing!

At Tires 2 U, we can perform road force balance on any tire and for any vehicle! Come by today and discover just how smoothly your vehicle can ride.
